You can always tell a face has been captured well, when the eyes follow you.

Dragons and dentists

Spent the afternoon in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur, where there is a bizarre array of people and shops. Went to a temple where there were piles of 'birthday suits' for the gods - these said suits are not naked ones, but enormous paper kimonos with dragons and fish painted in bright colours. At the other end of the spectrum, came across a dentist, which had a grisly display of some unfortunate patient's teeth mould in the window. Completely unexpected but hilarious.

There was a whole shop front of these little dolls.

A head perhaps?

Before and after?

Birthday suits for the gods! One size fits all!

I want this guy to guard my front door.

Geisha Girl and the Glass Palace

Awesome bar decor in Star Hill, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm a sucker for colourful glass lanterns. Reminds me of an alcoholic's version of Tennessee William's The Glass Menagerie.

More glass.

Beautiful Geisha. Advertising a Shiseido shop front.
